Butcher

Are you in the food business and you are known for your excellent customer service? Mayrand Inc. is currently seeking butchers.

Your tasks will consist mainly of:

  • Make cuts of meat, poultry and other products
  • Prepare meat for sale (cut, string, weight)
  • Monitor product quality and expiry dates, and ensure stock rotation
  • Apply to health and safety standards
  • Stay informed about new products
  • Receive supplied goods while respecting the cold chain
  • Prepare purchase orders quantities as per stock levels
  • Track product ordered by customers
  • Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, displays and working area
  • Respect the standards of hygiene and salubrity

Skills required:

  • DEP - retail butcher
  • Workplace Learning Program (ALMP)
